AUSTIN MACKELL

Austin Mackell worked as a journalist, splitting his time between Australia, the Middle East and Latin America, for ten years, before founding a technology company Stone Transparency that provides research capture tools to cutting edge journalists and academics.  

 As a journalist he worked with a wide range of publications including The Drum, The Guardian, and New Matilda, as well as TV news channels including CBS, FOX and both ABCs (The American one and the Australian one).

 As a technologist he's presented at World Economic Forum Events on fake news and at the annual conference of the Association for Interdisciplinary Metaresearch and Open Science.
