The Alliance is a national advocacy organisation which works to prevent and minimise the harm from gambling. Our aim is to remove the shame that surrounds gambling addiction, have the problem treated as a public health issue, and achieve the legislative changes needed to protect our communities.

We bring together well over 60 organisations who share the objectives of preventing harm from gambling. The Alliance provides coordination, expert advice and practical resources to our supporter organisations, community groups and media. We are running campaigns to get the AFL and Woolies to divest from pokies, to encourage political action across the country, and to show community organisations how they can make change without waiting for politicians.

The Voices for Gambling Reform program offers people with a lived experience of the impact of gambling a chance to belong to a community working together to minimize harm.

The Alliance for Gambling Reform is proudly independent. We do not, and will not accept money from any organisation or individual with a financial interest in any part of the gambling industry.

Your donations help our small team hold the predatory gambling industry to account and continue fighting for an Australia free from gambling harm.

All donations are tax-deductible.
